Fillers & Injectables​​
Injectables are a relatively painless treatment that takes minutes! It decreases the movement in the facial muscles that create wrinkles. It attaches to the muscle endplate, restricting the muscle from contracting or shortening. Depending on the product used, it begins to work in as little as 48 hours. Dermal fillers are FDA-approved products injected into the dermis, deep dermis, or on top of the bone to fill in wrinkles and give support to the underlying tissue. They are also used to enhance an area of interest such as the lips or buttocks. Products commonly used are made of hyaluronic acid and are dissolvable. These products typically last 9 months to 18 months. This product begins to work in 4-6 weeks and continues to slowly enhance the area treated for up to 2 years.
